Description: This film highlights the contributions of the Hispanic and Mexican beet worker, the working conditions, the pay, the backbreaking work. In highlighting the contributions we also replaced the stigma of shame with pride of working in the beet fields. This film gave so many people that worked in the sugar beets a place to be honored in the Hand that Feeds monument where we cemented our place in history.
