A discussion with Director Morris Burns about Bas Bleu’s production of “Harvey” by Mary Chase. Joining Morris is actors David Siever and Kathy Leonard.
Harvey, a Pulitzer Prize-winning comedy by Mary Chase, is the story of a perfect gentleman, Elwood P. Dowd, and his best friend, Harvey -- a pooka, who is a six-foot tall, invisible rabbit that only he can see. Elwood’s sister and niece are embarrassed by him and attempt to have him committed to an insane asylum. The play explores the importance of human imagination and the way twentieth century American culture looks at the irrational.
STAGES is an ongoing series produced by FC Public Media that features performance venues and productions throughout the City of Fort Collins.
